Sara A. Sharp

Chapel Haven, a nationally accredited program for adults with special needs, has served New Haven since 1976. As part of a redevelopment plan, it added a Welcome Center and residential education buildings. John and Sara assisted in creating a Planned Development District, drafting regulations, and coordinating with the city to support Chapel Haven's unique mission.

Culminating a year-long entitlement process, the Branford Planning & Zoning Commission recently approved the redevelopment of a 14-acre property to permit a mixed-use development on property where residential uses previously were prohibited. John Knuff and Sara Sharp represented CP Branford, LLC, in creating a new Planned Development District.

Sara Sharp will be honored with the Patricia Billie Miller Award for Outstanding Community Service at the Connecticut Women’s Business Development Council’s (WBDC) Annual Gala, Women Rising, on October 25, 2024.
