A Commitment to Excellence

Since 1967, Hurwitz, Sagarin, Slossberg & Knuff, LLC has been committed to excellence, responsiveness and results in serving its local, national and international clients in business litigation and in land use and real estate matters as well as individual clients in personal injury, wills and estates, real estate and other matters.

Business Litigation

Our business litigation practice focuses on complex civil litigation, where our depth of experience and compact size allows us to provide responsive and cost-effective service to our clients in even the most complex matters. Our attorneys regularly litigate complex unfair trade practices, antitrust, business torts and contract actions against major regional and national law firms and often serve as local counsel to out-of-state firms engaged in litigation in Connecticut state and federal courts.

Real Estate and Land Use

Our sophisticated real estate land use practice focuses on representing local, regional and national developers throughout Connecticut in all aspects, including related appeals and litigation, of their real estate projects such as regional shopping malls, big box stores, golf courses and village concept projects. We also represent parties and financial institutions in complex commercial property transactions throughout Connecticut.

Legal Services for Individuals

We apply the knowledge and experience we have gained from our complex litigation and real estate practices to serve individuals by recovering damages for injuries caused by medical or other professional malpractice, defective products or negligence or by wrongful employment termination or discrimination. We also provide probate, trust and estate management services and represent individuals in the preparation of wills and other documents and in will contests.
