HSSK has been selected as a finalist for The New England Legal Awards Litigation Department of the Year in the category of General Litigation. The recognition places HSSK alongside some of the nation’s largest and most established firms, including Latham & Watkins, Skadden, WilmerHale, and Wiggin & Dana.

A Connecticut judge has ruled that Janel Grant may proceed with her request to obtain records from Dr. Carlon Colker and Peak Wellness Inc., according to Law360.

Law360 reported on a significant development for Janel Grant. A federal judge has allowed her to expand her complaint to include a recent federal settlement involving McMahon and the SEC. The court approved Grant’s request to amend her complaint to reference WWE’s January 2025 settlement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

A Connecticut judge has approved a $5 million class action settlement between former students and the now-defunct Stone Academy. This is a significant victory for a class of over 1,000 students and Hurwitz Sagarin Slossberg & Knuff (HSSK).
