Hurwitz Sagarin Slossberg & Knuff Welcomes New Litigation Associate Catherine Ingersoll
08/07/2025Milford, CT (August 7, 2025) – Hurwitz Sagarin Slossberg & Knuff, LLC (HSSK), a premier boutique law firm based in Milford, Connecticut, is pleased to announce that Catherine Ingersoll has joined the firm as an associate in its litigation group. She will focus on employment law and civil litigation.

Ingersoll earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Quinnipiac University School of Law. While in law school, she served as president of the Mock Trial Society and as research and symposium editor for the Quinnipiac Health Law Journal. She competed in national trial competitions, earning honors as a regional champion and semifinalist, and received the Distinguished Academic Achievement Award in Advanced Mock Trial.
She developed an interest in employment law early in her academic career, earning a bachelor’s degree in labor and employment relations before deepening her focus through legal research and writing. Her published note, “Setting a Standard: Using Psychiatric Fitness-for-Duty Examinations to Determine Whether a President Is Fit to Serve” (2023), and her symposium presentation on cognitive testing for aging physicians reflect a long-standing interest in workplace standards and the law.
Ingersoll is admitted to practice in Connecticut.
