CT Law Tribune Reports on HSSK’s New Litigation Attorney

09/03/2025
The Connecticut Law Tribune recently reported on the addition of Catherine “Catie” Ingersoll to HSSK’s Litigation Practice. Catie brings a strong focus on employment law and civil litigation to the firm’s practice.

A graduate of Quinnipiac University School of Law, cum laude, Catie served as president of the Mock Trial Society and acted as Research and Symposium Editor for the Quinnipiac Health Law Journal. She excelled in national trial competitions, earning regional champion and semifinalist honors and was recognized for her performance in advanced mock trial.

Her academic interests include workplace standards, demonstrated in her published law school note, “Setting a Standard: Using Psychiatric Fitness-for-Duty Examinations to Determine Whether a President Is Fit to Serve” (2023), and her symposium presentation on cognitive testing for aging physicians. Her foundation in employment law traces back to her undergraduate studies in labor and employment relations.

David Slossberg, head of HSSK’s Litigation Practice, welcomed Catie to the team, noting, “Her litigation skills and passion for employment law will be a tremendous asset to our clients and our practice.”
