Amy Souchuns to Present at the CBA CT Land Use Law for Municipal Land Use Agencies, Boards, and Commissions
01/30/2023 | Connecticut Bar AssociationHSSK partner Amy Souchuns will be a presenter at the Connecticut Bar Association’s biennial seminar, Connecticut Land Use Law for Municipal Land Use Agencies, Boards, and Commissions, on Saturday, March 11, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
This is the third year that Amy has been invited to speak at this event, considered one of the most important and informative programs for Connecticut commission members of municipal land use agencies, boards, and commissions, as well as municipal planners, enforcement officers, and engineers. The event, which is open to only those listed, typically draws about 400 attendees in person and about 600 virtually.
Amy’s session on planning commissions is scheduled for 9:10 a.m. The session will cover powers of the planning commission, plan of development, statutory notice requirements, subdivisions and re-subdivisions, multi-agency approvals, reasons for denial, open space, changes in regulations, bonding requirements, conditional approvals, and mandating off-site improvements.

She represents prominent real estate developers, property owners, retailers and municipalities in complex land use and real estate matters throughout the state of Connecticut.
