This event supports the advancement of colorectal cancer research and patient care at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Colorectal cancer is the second leading cause of cancer-related deaths in the United States.

The tournament is organized by Chris Cardany, an engineer at Langan and a long-time professional partner of HSSK. Chris was diagnosed with colorectal cancer in 2024 and received treatment at Dana-Farber. His journey—and strength—inspired this event, which channels community support into meaningful action.
