Erica Nolan is a dynamic and experienced civil litigator with a growing record of success in the courtroom.

She has served as both a key member and leader of trial teams in multiple contested trials and hearings, demonstrating strategic insight, meticulous preparation, and effective advocacy in complex litigation. Most recently, Erica helped lead the defense of a regional automobile dealership in a five-day bench trial involving a contentious partnership dispute, securing a complete defense verdict on all counts.

Erica’s civil litigation practice encompasses employment disputes, business torts, insurance coverage matters, contract litigation, and administrative proceedings.  She builds strong relationships by working closely and collaboratively with clients to develop litigation strategies, assess risk, and ensure alignment throughout the course of a case.

Erica has developed a particular niche in representing Emergency Medical Services (EMS) providers in Connecticut. She regularly advises both municipal and private EMS clients on regulatory compliance and has played a principal role in contested Certificate of Need proceedings before the Department of Public Health. Among her clients is Trinity Health of New England EMS, for whom she has served on trial teams in several high-profile administrative matters involving service expansion and competition challenges.

Her federal court experience includes work on a civil rights case involving a minority-owned home healthcare agency that alleged racial discrimination in the Medicaid system.  Erica also currently represents a client in a high-profile sex trafficking case, handling sensitive and complex legal matters while managing the unique challenges posed by sustained media scrutiny.

Before entering private practice, Erica served as a judicial law clerk at the Connecticut Appellate Court for the Honorable Socrates H. Mihalakos, William J. Sullivan, Joseph H. Pellegrino, and Dennis G. Eveleigh.
