A consummate professional and tireless legal advocate, Lauren joined the firm following two litigation externships where she worked on a variety of matters before federal and state courts. She cultivated razor sharp skills drafting pleadings, preparing for depositions and refining courtroom practice, including leading a guilty plea in North Carolina's highest trial court.
Lauren's passion for legal study was ignited at the Texas Office of the Attorney General, where she conducted complex examinations on issues ranging from the Governor's COVID-19 policies to employment matters. She has also piloted research relating to Title IX and Clery Act compliance.
A natural leader throughout her professional development, Lauren was the Articles Editor for the Wake Forest Journal of Law & Policy and served as the Vice President of the Women in Law Association.
