John P. DiManno

John P. DiManno practices in the area of complex business litigation and employment law.  He represents individuals and businesses in cases involving all manner of business and employment-related matters, including sales and contract disputes, unfair trade practices, wrongful termination and unlawful employment practices. 

Mr. DiManno received his undergraduate degree from Boston College, where he was awarded Dean’s List honors.  He graduated with honors from the University of Connecticut School of Law, where he was a member of the Connecticut Law Review.  At the University of Connecticut, Mr. DiManno was the recipient of a Dean’s Scholarship, and received CALI Excellence awards in Lawyering Process and Business Organizations.  He is the author of Beyond Taxpayers’ Suits:  Public Interest Standing in the States, published in the Connecticut Law Review in December, 2008.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. DiManno served as a law clerk to the Honorable Justice Flemming L. Norcott, Jr. of the Connecticut Supreme Court.  Mr. DiManno has had large firm experience in the areas of employment litigation and labor relations.  Mr. DiManno has also held internships with the Corporation Counsel’s Office for the City of Hartford, and with the Honorable Judge Linda Pearce Prestley of the Connecticut Superior Court.  Mr. DiManno currently serves as co-chair of the Education Law Committee of the Young Lawyers Section of the Connecticut Bar Association.  He is also a member of the Connecticut Supreme Court Historical Society.  Mr. DiManno is admitted to practice in Connecticut.
