Meaghan McGurrin Miles

mmeMEAGHAN McGURRIN MILES represents clients in an array of land use and zoning matters as well as in civil litigation.

Ms. Miles received her Bachelor of Arts degree with General Honors from the University of Chicago where she was named to the Dean's List and was the Captain of the Women's Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field Team. She graduated, with honors, from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 2013.

While at law school, Ms. Miles was the Membership Manager of the Connecticut Law Review, the recipient of a Dean's Scholarship and of the Terry J. Tondro Student Prize for Excellence in the Study of Land Use, Historic Preservation, and Urban Redevelopment. She was the Competition Director of the Connecticut Moot Court Board and the Co-President of The Federalist Society. Ms. Miles is the author of Note, Protecting the Seasonal Arts: Fashion Design, Copyright Law, and the Viability of the Innovative Design Protection and Piracy Prevention Act, published by the Connecticut Law Review in 2012.

While attending law school, Ms. Miles served as a judicial intern for The Honorable Vanessa L. Bryant of the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut. After graduating from law school, Ms. Miles served as a law clerk of the Honorable William J. Sullivan and the Honorable William J. Lavery of the Connecticut Appellate Court.
